and Tax Residency Certificates
Apostillation of Documents
New Zealand is a signatory of the Hague Convention and can issue
apostilled documents quickly and economically.
Legal Opinions
We can arrange for Legal opinions on the validity for international
tax and operation of proposed statistics from highly experienced
New Zealand Barristers.
Certificates of Incumbency
We can arrange for the Registrar of Companies to provide Certificates
of Incumbency for client's companies. This certificate will provide
clients and those with whom they undertake associated business that
their New Zealand structure has been maintained appropriately with
the Companies Office and will also disclose whether or not the Companies
Office is aware of any provisions of the Companies Act which have
affected the status of the Company registration. This certificate
is not designed to provide any opinions or statements of credit
worthiness. These opinions on credit worthiness must be separately
commissioned with a credit agency.
Tax Residency Certificates
By request we can arrange for Tax Certificates to be issued by
the New Zealand Tax Authority. This provides documentary evidence
that the company is Registered with this Tax Authority and should
enable the payment of any dividends, interest or royalties to be
made from any jurisdictions with which New Zealand has Double Tax
Treaties, to New Zealand (or vice versa) with the lower withholding
taxes being deducted in the source jurisdiction.
